By admin. Filed in Weekly Roundup || The Raytron company unveiled a new robot yesterday named Chapit. The basic model comes with a vocabulary of about 100 words. It also features an internet connection allowing remote control. This robot is very similar to Nabaztag.
Nabaztag is a rabbit like robot that is connected to the internet. It can read your emails, tell you the weather and read your favorite podcasts. The latest version has a belly button microphone, allowing you to give voice commands. Check it out here. |

Also unveiled recently is the square robot from Dartmouth College. This robot is basically a box with solar panels. It is used to help researchers haul stuff around the North and South poles. See full story at MSNBC.
