Lawn robots anyone?

This week it’s all about your lawn. Shown here is Kevin Wolf’s take on the idea with a tractor phone robot. Can you now mow your lawn with a phone call? More info on the tractor robot here.  Kevin’s buddy Brian was first in creating a smartphone robot. Basically the robot uses Windows Mobile and the phone as a brain. The phone communicates with the rest of the robot via Bluetooth. Check out Brian’s bot here. tractor robot

Or how about the Robomow? A Roomba type robot for your lawn. First you set up a wire perimeter around your lawn. Then you press go and wait for it to mow your lawn while you barbecue up your favorite vittles or just hang out. See all the action and video at Friendly Robotics.
