 The VIPeR (Versatile, Intelligent, Portable Robot) pictured here is being developed by the Israel in conjunction with Elbit Systems. It is designed to sniff out bombs and disable them with jets of water or even fire a mini Uzi. The VIPeR can also be outifitted with a grenade launcher. The robot is controlled with a harness and a helmet mounted display. The VIPeR weighs 25 lbs and measures 18″L x 18″W x 9″H (46 x 46 x 23 cm).This small bot can maneuver in tight spaces and even climb stairs. The tiny Terminator has arrived.
