Robots Make Sweet Music
Wednesday, June 13th, 2007 Four students from the University of Adelaide have created a violin playing robot called RoboFiddler. Pictured here from left to right are Joshua Chia, Lee Chin Hooi and Hong Boon Yao. Not pictured is Beinyg Lim. These 4 students came in second place at the Artemis Orchestra Contest in Berlin. These guys need to visit the folks at Lemurplex in Brooklyn. To come in second, the robot had to play Soldier’s Joy and a piece by composer Hans Sitt. See the full story here. |
