iCatResearchers at Philips in the Netherlands have developed a new robotic research program dubbed iCat. Why they want to use a cat to study facial expressions is beyond me. This platform has 13 servos that control the facial expressions. The iCat can seem sad, happy surprised and angry among other expressions. The purpose of their program is to study human and robotic interactions. The iCat can be connected to your computer via a USB connection. Unfortunately it looks like this robot is only available to universities and research programs. But hey, they can choose a yellow or orange cat.
