New Bot From iRobot

Most folks speculated that iRobot’s new robot would be a lawnbot. Well, they have introduced a new gutter cleaning robot called Looj.

The classic sci-fi movie The Day The Earth Stood Still is getting a remake. None other than Keannu Reeves is playing the alien Klaatu. No word on who is playing the robot Gort.
The remake is being directed by Scott Derrickson and is scheduled for release in May of 2008. Let’s hope Hollywood doesn’t screw up [...]

Giant Robot

Japanese artist Kogoro Kurata has created a giant robot named Scopedog. The robot is based on a 1983 anime series called Armored Trooper Votoms. Scopedog is over 4 meters tall and weighs over 2 tons. Now this is some serious heavy metal.
