A Japanese tv show called Tokyo Eye talks about robots in Japan, including robot sports arenas where you can play soccer or wrestling with your robot. The show is in English. See it here.
A comedy film called Run Robot Run is now screening in Toronto Canada at the Royal Theatre with live cast before each film. The film is about an office worker losing his job to a robot. The film is also available on DVD. Link to review.

This movie sounds similar to one part of Robot Stories by Greg Pak from 2003. This movie is really 4 short movies all about robots. It contains a robot baby, a robot office worker, a mother’s obsession with her son’s robot toys and more.
