Astro Boy Comes to Life

David Hanson from Hanson Robotics has created a new fun/creepy robot called Zeno based on the Astro Boy. David Hanson is using an advanced form of Flubber, the lifelike skin he created and used other robotic project’s like Einstein’s head.
The 17 inc tall robot weighs 4.5 pounds and has 30 motors throughout his face and body. The current model also uses a lithium-polymer prototype battery that needs to be plugged in every hour or so.
The tiny tyke whines and complains when his battery is low. Who thought this was an attractive feature?
Zeno will speak and tell stories when he eventually goes on sale. The time frame is estimated at two years and cost will be $200.
