Boston Dynamics, makers of BigDog have unveiled LittleDog. This creepy robot uses an advanced algorithm to navigate tough rocky terrain. LittleDog pauses to think and calculates each step in such a way that it it looks very lifelike.
Each leg contains 3 motors strong enough for dynamic locomotion and an onboard computer is used for sensing, controling movement and wireless communications.
This robot makes me think of the creatures from the movie Aliens.
