Giant Worm Robot Invades New York

Ok, maybe invades is overstating it, but how else can you categorize an 800 pound robot named WISOR (Welding and Inspection Steam Operations Robot) that lives under New York City?

Manufactured by Honybee Robotics for Con Edison this robot is equipped with 5 cameras a MIG welder and a milling device. This 800 pound baby moves along with an inchworm motion as it inspects and fixes the underground steam pipes.
