Robotic Falcon Scares All
By admin. Filed in Robot News, Science |
A robotic falcon named Falco Robot GBRS (Gregarious Bird Removal System) has been unveiled by a European company called Bird Raptor Srl. The company states this “system” is the result of 10 years of experimentation.
The robot was developed to remove unwanted birds such as pigeons in areas such as airports. On the companies website they compare Falco to traditional falconing. Some highlights are:
- The long and difficult period of training
- The hawk can be managed only by its own falconer
On the contrary, “Falco Robot GBRSâ€:
- is always ready to be used
- is completely checkable
- has an easy management and service
Hey, As long as it scares away those pesky pigeons, Falco has done it’s job. See our previous bird related post about the hawk that grabbed the WowWee Dragonfly robot.
