BAE Systems has just signed a $38 million agreement with the US Army to develop insect like robots. This collaborative is called Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology (MAST).

Mobot Races are a Carnegie Mellon institution. The line following robot race has been run annually for 14 years. Pictured here is the 2006 winner Pajamas.

First he was in a show at Disneyland called Say Hello To Honda’s Asimo, then he was in the New Year’s Day parade and now he will be conducting the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, including cellist Yo-Yo Ma on May 13.
