Buzz Saw Bot Puts Out Forest Fires
Published May 1st, 2008 in DIY, Robot News
A forest fire robot prototype has been created by Jordan Guelde and Daniel Shankland II, 2 students at The College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit, MI.
This prototype features an integrated fuel system and hubless motors. It also has 4 arms, two containing buzz saws.
Add on 4 more arms and it would look like an orange Dr. Octopus.
The robot contains over 600 parts and took nearly 6 months to complete. This thing is amazing. Way to go guys!
