Chore Robot

The Jetsons future we have all been waiting for is here (in about 10 years)!
The robot was designed to do household chores such as vacuuming, laundry and washing dishes. The robot has the ability to move furniture as needed and put it back in the same spot when it is done doing the chores.
The so-called “Home Assistant Robot” stands 155cm, weighs 130kg. The robot uses 5 cameras and 6 lasers to navigate your home and to help it open and close doors.
Depending on the activity, the robot only lasts 30 - 60 minutes per charge. This robot is a project between Toyota and the University of Tokyo. These folks hope to make the robot commercially available in about 10 years at around $10,000.
