Project Jarvis Inspired by Iron Man’s Jarvis
Using an Arduino, an RFID tag reader and a Mac Mini, Chad Barraford from the Boston area has created a digital life assistant. Something like a modern day robotic Jeeves that lives through the computer, speech technology and a Twitter account.
Chad can communicate with Jarvis through a microphone, Twitter and text messaging.
Project Jarvis can tell who is in the house by using the RFID tag reader, rattle off what Netflix movies you have available or go into migraine mode when Chad has a really bad headache. Migraine mode includes notifying certain people and dimming down lights in the house.
Our favorite part about Project Jarvis is that this robotic Jeeves is hooked up to a George Foreman Grill and can cook hot dogs upon request. All he needs now is one of the robotic bartenders from Roboexotica to join him.
