Robotic Sculpture From the 1960′s

The Senster is a robotic sculpture from the late 1960′s commissioned buy Phillips and made by Edward Ihnatowicz. It resided from 1970 – 1974 at Evoluon.
The 15 foot long sculpture consisted of welded steel tubing, microphones and a computer. It also employed doppler radar.
The sculpture reacted to visitor behavior and sound.
