Saturday’s Urban Challenge in Victorville California was won by the team from Carnegie Mellon University pictured here.
An urban course had to be completed within 6 hours with the robotic vehicle. Stoplights, left turns and other urban hazards were included in the challenge.
Competing against 11 other teams, including MIT and Stanford, Carnegie Mellon’s vehicle named Boss was the winner of the $2 million prize.
Stanford’s team came in second with their vehicle Junior and Victor Tango’s Odin came in third.
