Exoskeleton Turns Man Into Robot
The Raytheon Company has been working on something called the XOS Exoskeleton since 2000. This device is kind of like the suit Iron Man wears and is being developed for the US Army.
The special suit is built using sensors and actuators and allows the user to lift 200 pounds without getting tired.
Hugh Herr from MIT also led a group that developed a smaller version of an exoskeleton. See more MIT info here.
