iRobot Awarded $13.5 Million Contract

LAND_Robot_iRobot_Packbot_lgiRobot from Burlington Massachusetts announced this past Monday that it was awarded a $13.5 million contract by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA).

iRobot is scheduled to deliver the PackBot MTRS (Man Transportable Robotic System) by July of 2010.  It will also provide training, spare parts and repair services.
