Is Pleo Dead?

Ugobe, the company that created Pleo has just filed for bankruptcy and all of the employees have been let go.
I wonder if Pleo will soon go the route of the Sony Aibo.
Aibo is currently only available on Ebay at a hefty price.
Or will Ugobe be resurrected and Pleo revived?
Pleo is currently available at Amazon for $245 , only $99, normally $350. Sorry folks, but that is no a good sign for Pleo. Also the website Ugobe.com and pleoworld.com are down.
Are any readers Pleo owners?

4/23 Update: We have seen the price go from $249 to $99 to $199 in the last few days and today it is at $221. What gives Amazon? How about showing our readers a little love and putting it back to $99? (Thanks Evan).

The Pleo site isn’t down. If fact, a new & improved version of Pleo has been released – the 2009 Pleo. The ’09 Pleo has improved skin, paint, and battery charger, all ready for more wear and long-lastingness.

Looks like Amazon has changed the price again. Yesterday when we looked at it it was only $99.
Today it is listed as $199. What’s going on Amazon?
