Meet Girlzilla, Girl Robot
The Lower East Side Girls Club in New York has spent all summer working on a project called Girlzilla. Their goal was to be ready for the Howl! arts festival in Thompkins Square Park this past weekend.
The girls and their mentor, David Pentecost, used tools such as a pipe bender, hammer and drill, to create the body of this giant robot.
The body of Girlzilla is mounted on the base of an electric wheelchair bought off of Craigslist. Nice job girls, Girlzilla is awesome.
