Robotic Bride Walks Down The Runway

The HRP-4C robot made by Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) recently walked down the fashion runway in Osaka.

The robot named Mimi weighs 95 pounds and stands 5 feet 2 inches tall.

Mimi  strolled smoothly up and down the runway in a wedding dress designed by Yumi Katsura.

Developer Kazuhito Yokoi wore a tuxedo and stated:

Like the father of a bride, I feel both happy and sad.
