Robotic Rats
A group of international scientists, including members from France, Israel, Great Britain, United States and the other countries, are working on building a whiskered robot.
They are studying how whiskers work and how nocturnal animals use others senses more than there eyes. Hopefully one day this research will help build a robot for use in rescue or low light missions.
Is it just me or is it kind of creepy to think about being rescued by a metal rat?
