Tsutenkaku Robo Being Created
By Chief Robot. Filed in Robot News |Tags: japan
Tsutenkaku (Tower Reaching Heaven) is a well known landmark in Osaka Japan and was originally modeled on the Eiffel Tower.
In order to promote business in the area, some folks are building a 5.6 foot tall robot that looks like the famous landmark and have already created a website which you can see here (mostly in Japanese). If you believe the specs on the website it will be made out of a titanium alloy, have propulsion rocket thrusters and generate 91,380 kilowatts of electricity.
The robot tower will come to life sometime in 2010.
