Missing robot Waldo has been found folks.  He lived up to his name and was hiding only 50 feet from where he was last known to be.

Last week UAV Waldo went missing off the coast of Florida while patrolling the waters to detect Red Tide.  Waldo is used by the Mote Marine Laboratory and cost about $100,000.

Sonar, VHF, divers and airplane surveys couldn’t locate the missing Waldo.

Waldo began sending signals again on 9/10 at around 6:00 am and the lab staff went right out in a boat and rescued poor Waldo.
