RoboSapienServer
Kevin Haw has hacked a Robosapien to do his bidding over the internet.
Utilizing an Arduino and an Ethernet shield in between, he can make the robot high five and whistle among other cool things.
Complete project page with code at Arduino.cc.
Arduino Tweetbot
UK hacker Ken Lim encourages everyone to start building their own robot army, one robot at a time.
Ken built the robot here called the Guardian Robot. This robot uses an Arduino as it’s brain and monitors your Twitter account.
If the tweets coming in are happy it raises its hand to give you a high five, if they are sad it lowers its head.
If you high five the robot back or give it a hug when it is sad, it will then send out an appropriate tweet. There are 2 switches that you actually push. One switch is on its hand and and another is on its stomach.
Check out the source code here if you want to make your own.
Or follow the Guardian Robot on Twitter.

Arduino Mothbot
Instructables user natantus has created an Arduino based Mothbot.
This seems like a great project for Ardunio and robotics beginners. If you have no spare parts lying around, it should cost only about $80.
What is used is a scrap of wood, a solderless breadboard, a nine volt battery, some AA batteries , an Arduino Duemilanove, screws, a castor style wheel and some Ziploc container lids used for the main wheels.
Nice job natantus!
Downlaod the PDF file of instructions here or see all the details at Instructables.
Arduino Robot Walker
With some parts ordered from Ponoko, some Hitech servos and an Arduino for a brain, Shawn and his 2 kids built a walker style robot.
Great little project. One could also add a WiShield from Asynclabs for wireless control.
The Wishield for the Arduino is the first shield that gives you completely wireless control over the Arduino. It allows you to send or receive data and can also act as a webserver.
Check out ArduinoFun for all the details and source code on how to make this walker robot..

Robot Gardening
More robotic gardening. This time Adafruit Industries visits Peter Sand at the W/——— project space in Chinatown NYC.
Using a protoshield, Arduinos and many other parts, Peter’s robot plants seeds and tends the garden.
