Do Not Board Elavator With Robot

Funny story over at BoingBoing about guy at Stanford Medical who got onto an elevator with a hospital robot. The robot was about the size of washing machine  and designed to deliver x-rays. The robot nearly knocked him over in the elevator. Since then it appears a sign has been put up. Link via (BoingBoing)

Stanford’s Autonomous Helicopters Teach Themselves To Fly

A three man team of computer scientists at Stanford University have created helicopter that can fly themselves.  The helicopters learn maneuvers by watching other helicopters.
