Students Inspired By Loch Ness Monster Create UAV
The students at Heriot Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland have created an Unmanned Underwater Vehicle (UAV).
They have also entered and won the Student Autonomous Underwater Challenge – Europe (SAUC-E), besting 5 other teams. The challenge was held in France this year.
The team also won the THALES Special Award for innovation in autonomy, taking home €11,000.
